Erebus
Overview
A heavy robot made for middle and long distance fights. It has an Aegis shield of impressive durability and it can temporarily disable enemies with guided missiles.
Ability // Homing Blackout
Erebus' ability is called Homing Blackout. When activated, its fires four guided rockets that seek out the target by themselves. The homing rockets seek out targets behind obstacles and work similarly to the Hydra; they will see objects and correct their flight paths. The rockets have an 800m range and will inflict 3069 damage at base level. They will also inflict the following effects on the target: * EMP (blocking the activation of the enemies’ abilities and module) * Lock-Down (immobilizing the enemy) * Suppression (reducing the enemy's firepower by 50%) * DoT corrosion (which steadily inflicts damage-resistance-bypassing damage at a rate of 1578/sec). Each effect lasts five seconds. The effects cannot be negated (unless the enemy is equipped with an Anticontrol module or uses a robot ability that can negate status effects). Homing Blackout has a fourteen-second cooldown. Note that, unlike many other Blackout effects, all of Erebus' Homing Blackout shots are delivered via a explosive-type weapon. This means that, like all Missile Weapons, it will maneuver around most obstacles. However, the missiles require a lock-on, and the effects will not bypass energy shields and do not inflict splash damage. The Erebus is also equipped with a passively-regenerating Aegis Shield, which blocks all types of fire (including flamethrower weapons). It starts off at level one with a very impressive 60,000 durability - only the defensive-oriented robot Bulwark matches Erebus with such a strong Aegis shield. The shield regenerates passively at a rate of 3% per second (verification needed). When it is fully depleted, it will only reactivate when it has been regenerated to 20% durability.
