Ultimate Leo

Overview

Ultimate Leo is a Damage Dealer with three medium and one heavy weapon slot. Its Ultimate Boost ability activates a Reflector and increases weapon damage while it remains active, reaching a higher maximum bonus at MK3. Unlike most Damage Dealers it has enough durability to remain exposed for a while, but it lacks any mobility ability to escape once attacked. The combination of high firepower, a long defensive ability and the Damage Dealer specialization makes Ultimate Leo well suited to sustained mid- and long-range fire. It is less comfortable as a conventional brawler: 50 km/h is reasonable for a heavy robot, but there is no dash, jump or teleport to close distance or retreat.

Ability // Ultimate Boost

Ultimate Boost: Ultimate Leo activates a Reflector and gains a damage bonus which gradually increases for the duration of the ability. The Reflector blocks part of the incoming damage and redirects it back at the attacker, but does not make Leo immune to damage. At MK2 its Reflector improves from 40% to 60%, while MK3 raises the maximum damage bonus from 15% to 30%. The ability rewards staying engaged for most of its duration rather than using it for a short burst.
