Overview

An energy rifle with an adaptive cooling system. Deals increased damage to both physical and energy shields, effectively penetrating enemy defenses. Capable of continuous fire without reloading, but gradually loses rate of fire as it overheats. At critical heat levels, it doesn't shut down — however, its rate of fire slows down significantly to a minimum.
